Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of the algorithm engineer are:

  • Audio & speech algorithm development
  • Algorithm simulation & verification in Matlab
  • POC development on various DSP and SoC architectures
  • Performance measurement, analysis and benchmarking
  • Create clear and thorough documentation
  • Summarize and present technical data to fellow engineers and management team
  • Contribute to the overall audio system design
  • Collaborate with other teams to help productize algorithms

Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates with most of the following:

  • Strong audio and speech algorithm development skills
  • Experience with full product lifecycle from concept to deployment
  • Acoustic and audio measurement experience
  • Critical listening skills
  • Excellent DSP knowledge
  • Expert in Matlab and Python
  • Strong C/C++ skills
  • Hands-on embedded systems development experience
  • Microphone array processing knowledge
  • Good understanding of industry recognized audio standards
  • Automotive experience is a plus
