Hi,
I was reading the Audio Weaver Tuning Command Syntax documentation and noticed that external tools/scripts (such as Python or MATLAB) can connect to AWE Server and send tuning commands like get_value, set_value, and write_pump_read.
I have a few questions:
-
Is this external scripting capability available in both the Standard and Pro versions of Audio Weaver, or is it limited to a specific license/version?
-
What is the recommended procedure for sending commands manually from an external script to a target running AWE Core? Are there any prerequisites or configuration steps required in Audio Weaver Designer or AWE Server?
-
Is it possible to manually send commands such as
write_pump_readdirectly from within Audio Weaver Designer, or is manual command injection only supported through external clients/scripts connected to AWE Server?
My understanding is that Designer normally generates and sends the required packets automatically based on the signal chain and user interactions. I am trying to understand the options available when a user wants to manually issue tuning commands.
Thanks for your help.
Thanks,
Monika V
