Hi DSPC,
After an total breakdown down of the tool, and I need to restart my pc. Im now getting this error starting designer, and nothing works. I cant seems to get the tool to point to the right folder with these magic modules. please note nothing works in the tool now,, why is where not an restore default path options in the tool?
Please see the attached image for details.
Im using release 8.2025.2 pro on an windows 11 OS.
Using this version Im also getting this error
ERROR: Process Event failed - gethwnd: Error using num2str (line 24)
Input to num2str must be numeric.
anytime I open an new dialog window, and the app hangs.

Hi Klaus,
Apologies that you are facing this issue. As per your screenshot I can tell you that this is not the normal state of Audio Weaver and we can do a couple of this is identify the problem. I see that you have AWE Pro. Can you please double check if there are multiple instance of AWE running in the background? Secondly, please check if you have multiple AWE Versions are not added to the MATLAB Path. Please let me know if either of these are the issue.

thanks for your fast reply. I have restarted my pc and checked, I have only one awe instance running and the module path points to one in the matlab path. please check my my module paths in designer in the attached image.

The awebug.png image shows that you are missing the Standard module pack in module path list.
Add AWEModules\Source\Standard to the list and you should probably remove the first 3 entries
as those folders are not typically associated with module packs.
