I purchased the aforementioned evaluation board a week ago and have been struggling to just get pass connecting to the board, much less than running any type of audio manipulation.
In reference to the instructions in the "Audio Weaver ADSP-21489 EZ-Kit (RS-232) Audio Weaver Target User's Guide" After double checking the settings, I come to #4. Booting Pre Programmed code (loader file). The instructions indicate using the VisualDSP++ via the HPUSB-ICE JTAG or HPPCI-ICE JTAG, is this my problem, I do not have ether JTAG, I only have the stand alone debug emulator? There seems to be a communication issue, I have success getting the files to load, but when I open AW, and try and change the connection I have problems, although the target window shows RS 232, the info(?) still indicates that the file

still not getting this, was hopping too at least get connected before the trial ends

Hi jbsaunders,
As a quick check, did you select "Erase all" option while flashing the loader file? Also please make sure SW4 (Boot Mode) switch to position 2. Make sure other switch settings reflect to table in the setup guide. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply, Yes I have checked and double checked setting as per default on the board and as instructed in the BSP manual. But unfortunately no. One thing I noticed, and it might not might not mean anything, when I change the device setup in flash programmer and load the .dxe file, the dialog box states it sees a STM model. is that correct?
