MIPS calculation on AWE

MIPS calculation on AWE

Hi, 

When profiling my AWE modules, I can get measurements in MHz or ticks.  Is there a  straight way to get the MIPS numbers from  the AWE Profiling output?

Hi Rodrigo,

Unfortunately AWE Designer does not perform measurements in units of MIPS. If you know the MIPS<->MHz correspondence for your target processor, you can use AWE Designer's profling results to calculate the required MIPS.

Hi Michael,

 

Thanks for this quick answer. Sorry for my ignorance in this subject. Is any AWE documentation on this topic?  I would like to get more information on how AWE computes MHz, ticks, etc.  For us, MIPS unit is important and we want to measure it on our targets.

Hello Rodrigo,
