Hello.
After installing Audio Weaver 6.17.B01 STMicro, it was necessary to implement support for STM32F4xx Discovery. According to the instructions, in the C: \ DSP Concepts \ Audio Weaver 6.17.B01 STMicro folder, you need to find the file STM32F407VG.bin, and flash it into the microcontroller. But this file is not in these folders. Where can I find this file?

Hello,
We are in the final stages of testing for the ST BSPs. They will be released in the next day or two and you will be able to find them at www.dspconcepts.com/st. We apologize for the delay.
Please check back soon!

Hello,
Are there any updates on when will the STM32F407VG.bin file will be available? Also is there any other way to get the 6.17.B01 STMicro version of the Audio Weaver software running on the STM32F407 boards?
Thank you,
Tibi

Hello,
Is there any update? I'm waiting binary file too.
Thank you.

Hi,
Thanks for your patience as we spent the time necessary to create and test the BSPs. You can now download BSPs for the STM32F407, STM32F746, and STM32L496 at www.dspconcepts.com/st.
Enjoy!

Hello!
This is my first post and yes, I am bringing problems...
I manage to install all related software, connect to the board, etc.
After creating a simple test system (straight through from input to output with a 4-channel meter) and pressing the run button, everything looks ok but I get no output signal at the output jack.
The meter shows no signal on channels 1 and 2, but a signal is present on channels 3 and 4.
I must be doing something really stupid, but I just cannot figure out what exactly...
The same system runs just fine using the native soundboard under Win 10.
The ST32F407 board has the latest firmware.
I appreciate any help I can get.
Thanks!

Hello,
Are you playing any audio from a source on your PC? While connected to an external target, the audio pumped through the USB does not come from a file like when you are connected natively. To send audio to the board over USB, you must select the 'AWE Audio Class' as the default playback device on your PC, and then play audio through any application you like (Spotify, WMP, browser, etc.) while your design is running.
I hope this helps you out!
By the way, the signal on channels 3 and 4 that you see are from the microphone on the STM32407.

That was it... I was trying to play from a file... I knew I was doing something stupid... :-)
I also knew that channels 3 and 4 are related to the microphone input, that is why I was puzzled to see an indication of a signal.
"Mystery" solved!
Thanks a bunch!!!

Hi Joe Root,
The file you are looking for is 'AWE BSP stm32f407 v1.2\Bin\STM32F407_Discovery.bin' for the v1.2 BSP available on our website (www.dspconcepts.com/downloads). The name that you are looking for is from older versions of our ST BSP, but the documentation for the STM32F407 both on our website (www.dspconcepts.com/support) and included in the v1.2 BSP specify the current name.
Good luck!

You can download the STM32F407 reference BSP from our Downloads page: https://dspconcepts.com/downloads
This contains a reference design for integrating Audio Weaver on the STM32F407, and also includes .bin files that you can flash onto the board.

Hello Basil,
Sorry you couldn't start using Audio Weaver right away. Let's fix that. There are a couple of things you can try. When you run Audio Weaver for the first time, you will see a Windows Defender window pop up, asking you to allow Audio Weaver to communicate on networks your computer is connected to. I've attached a sample image of what this will look like. Audio Weaver requires network connectivity, so you will need to allow communication at this step. Do you remember if you allowed Audio Weaver communication over your networks?
An option would be to uninstall and reinstall to double check. Another option would be to temporarily disable your Windows Defender Firewall: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4028544/windows-10-turn-microsoft-defender-firewall-on-or-off. Lastly, if you have allowed communication over network, could you try running Audio Weaver as Administrator? This has resolved the issue you're describing for some customers before.
Please let me know if any of those work for you.
Thanks,
Kevin
