Hi Guys,
Been thinking about the area of EQ, DSP and Crossovers. Lots of ways to skin the cat.
But may I ask first: is the SMT32F769I would be good as it has 2 SPDIF RCA input/output, meaning I can get a digital output to my DAC rather than send it through the board DAC?
My thinking is, since I cannot workout a way of getting 6 separate channels out of the board (for a stereo 3-way speaker crossover) into the audio world, just deal with the stereo SPDIF.
Just checking – the programme (Audio Weaver) can do equalisation across the frequency range for each channel?
If so then I can send the SPDIF into my DAC and then this into my analogue Crossover and we have the signal in the real world.
I would love to do all this in the digital arena and send the digital output to 3 stereo DAC’s and then into the 3-stereo amplifier.
Just thinking out loud…

Hello,
It sounds like you've figured out a way to make the STM32F769i board work for your purposes.
As far as Audio Weaver, you shouldn't have any issues setting up the equalization you desire using the existing modules.

Thank you for the reply, but I really am still in the dark.
Can I be more precise??
1. Is the SMR32F769I – a good board. I chose it because of the added memory, and it has BOTH SPID in and out.
2. This is not my preferred option, but I was finding brick walls trying to get the digital/I2s out of the board. So, I found a board with a digital in/out.
3. I2S would be best, but I do not know how to do that.
4. I would like to use the STM32 and Acoustic Weaver to its full capabilities as a 3-way crossover and EQ, but I have found only brick walls when it comes to extracting the I2S or any digital from the board.
5. Are the any GPIO or breakout boards instructions to get the digit out.
While I appreciate the answer, I remain confused and in the dark.
If anyone can help, I would be most appreciative.
