Hi,
I was wondering how I might be able to go about setting up Audio Weaver to call any player such us Mplayer or VLC to playback audio files? VLC for example is supported on both Windows and Linux so I was hoping to be able to use it on a host PC to be able to play back audio on an embedded Linux device using remote server.
I check the " set up a tuning interface " section in AWECore 8.B Integration Guide and i Don't found any information about setting up a player.

Hello Hayouniaymen,
This would be out of normal scope for DSP Concepts support, however you can use Audio Weaver itself to play and process audio on embedded targets.
Thanks,

I don't mean to use the designer, but I asked if there an API in the AWE Core that can be used to develop an internal player.
In other way, the AWE Core contains an API to call other player installed in PC platforms, or we can build our one player under the target?

Hello Hayouniaymen,
AWECore is deterministic. It doesn't care where it receives audio from. However getting audio into AWECore from another 3rd party audio player would be outside of AWECore's scope.
Thanks,
Kevin
