I have a problem where I cannot run awe_init.  I am using version 6.18.1 Pro.  I have tried uninstalling and the reinstalling.  There is listed below.

 

C:\DSP Concepts\Audio Weaver 6.18.01 Pro\matlab\awe_init.p
>> awe_init
Using binary from win32-vc100-rel
Undefined function or variable 'AWEClient'.

Error in awe_server_command

Error in target_set_timeout

Error in awe_server_launch

Error in awe_init

Found the problem. When I uninstalled  the files were not deleted until after I restarted my computer.
