The libmwservices.dll is part of the MATLAB Compiler Runtime installation. Please try reinstalling STMicro Audio Weaver Designer, which includes an installation of MCR. Let us know if this does not fix the problem.
libmwservices.dll is installed(dll exist in this folder) in the Matlab compiler installion. it is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\MATLAB\MATLAB Compiler Runtime\v84\bin\win32
Audio weaver is installed at C:\DSP Concepts\Audio Weaver 6.17.B01 STMicro
I have uninstalled MCR and Audio weaver completely, and reinstalled still the same problem.
was this ever solved? I am running 64bit windows 10 and I get the same error but in launchermain.dll. I've tried installing the MCR from matlab download site using matlab r2014b 64 bit without luck. I'm trying to prototype on STM32f769.
I struggled with the same problem - when I tried to start awe_server.exe (from Designer ver. 6.18.02) in a clean Win 10 from explorer I got a Windows error saying that the file msvcr100.dll couldn't be found. I searched for others having the same problem. It was recommended somewhere to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 which didn't solve the problem. After some more searching, including finding this thread, I installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 after which it worked!
@DSP Concepts: Would it be possible for you to add a task in your backlog to avoid dependencies of such old Visual C++ distributions? Apart from that, great tool!
As you suggested, I checked my installation of Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable x86. I had v. 10.0.40219. I uninstalled it and downloaded and reinstalled vcredist_x86.exe from the link you provided. It installed v. 10.0.30319, an older version. But it is only 743kB versus previously 13.8MB. I repaired it, but nothing changed - installation is correct.
I uninstalled MCR and re-downloaded and re-installed MCR-2017b_win64 in the Audio Weaver 6.18.02 STMicro full installation.
Matlab is not running on my computer, according to Task Manager. But I do have Matlab R2018a installed as of a month ago.
After AWD installation is complete. I get this error:
C:\DSP Concepts\Audio Weaver Designer 6.18.02 STMicro>Fatal Internal Error: std:
:exception: Bundle#4 start failed: Loading C:\Program Files\MATLAB\MATLAB Runtim
e\v93\bin\win64\matlab_startup_plugins\lmgrimpl\libmwlmgrimpl.dllfailed with err
or: The operating system cannot run %1.
At this point I'm moving on. I need Matlab-R2018a more than I need Audio Weaver. Thanks for your help.
The newest AWE Version is no alternative, because for me only Matlab 2015b is available.
Version 6.18.xx Pro seems not to work with the available license (already tried this).

Thanks Tushar, we'll try to recreate this issue on a Win7 x64 machine.

Let me know if you need any log files or related files from my PC.
Unfortunately our company has all our PC installed with Win7/64bit machine.

HI Jerry,
The following steps I would recommend you to do:
1. Verify that the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) is installed in your computer.
2. Uninstall MCR from your computer and install MCR version included in 6.18.02 STMicro version of installer.
Please, let me know if the issue will be resolved.
Thanks,
Paul

Version 6.18.02 STMicro won't start. Tried running it under DOS cmd prompt and got:
C:\DSP Concepts\Audio Weaver Designer 6.18.02 STMicro>awe_designer.exe
C:\DSP Concepts\Audio Weaver Designer 6.18.02 STMicro>Fatal Internal Error: std:

or: The operating system cannot run %1.
I'm using Win7 Pro 64-bit.

Hi Peter,
We could not reproduce the issue with Version 6.18.02 STMicro on Win10.
Couple steps I would recommend you to do:
1. Verify that the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) is installed in your computer.
2. Unistall the MCR from your computer and install that included in 6.18.02 STMicro version of installer.
3. Verify that no other edition of Audio Weaver Designer is currently running on your computer
4. Verify that Matlab is not running on your computer while you open STMicro edition
Thank you,
Paul

After running the matlab line awe_designer following errors are shown and the GUI doesn't work.
This behavior comes from nowhere; for one year everything runs fine.
System: Win 7 64 Bit, Audio Weaver 5.16.B04 Developer

Version 6.18.xx Pro seems not to work with the available license (already tried this).

Hi Max,
I think you have run into an issue with the registration of some of the Audio Weaver .dll's. Please see this post for the steps that should fix your issue: https://dspconcepts.com/forums/audio-weaver-designer/418-server-creation...
Let me know if the problem persists after you re-register the .dll's.
